Diana Gurtskaya became a laureate of Armenian music awards 2008

The 3^rd Armenian music awards ceremony “Tashir 2008” took place on April 6^th 2008, at the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow. 

The Golden statuette of laureate was given to Diana Gurtskaya, Eurovision participant. The exact award by jury’s decision also was given to the singer Sirusho and to Dima Bilan. 

Diana says: “I am very pleased to take part at this ceremony. Such support of Armenia is very important for me. And it is especially great we’ve met with Sirusho. She is very vivid singer and wonderful person, and I felt this from the first minute of our intercourse.” 

The special award was also given to the author of Diana’s song – Karen Kavaleryan, Armenian by nationality who has in active 5 countries which have his songs performed in Eurovision – Russia (2002, 2006), Belarus (2007), Armenia (2007), Ukraine (2008) and Georgia (2008).

Diana received a great ovation from the audience after the performance of the 2008 Georgian entry “Peace will come”.
