Csézy1, the beautiful and talented singer has won the Hungarian national selection, with the song ‘Szívverés’ which has subsequently been translated as Candlelight and will thus represent Hungary in the second Semi-Final of the Eurovision Song Contest on Thursday, 22nd of May in Belgrade. GOSSIPS about the Hungarian performer Ambassador of folk art Csézy was born in a family which is proud of preserving Hungarian folk traditions, namely she is the last descendant of the worldwide famous „Matyó” dynasty. ‘A temporary exhibition related to the culture of Europe was held in some years ago – she tells. At this event I represented ; I introduced the typical ‘Matyó’ folk-art to Japanese visitors. When we asked Csézy about her pets, she started to talk about a bat. ’We have a domesticated bat. It could be a man – she laughs – a typical bachelor. He is a nice guy, because he has never brought his buddies home.’ There is a deer-family near their house and they have a mole in the garden. ‘Nobody believes me, but the mole listens to us and shakes itself when we talk to it.’ Born to sing As my mother says I had already started to sing before I was able to talk – Csézy tells. I have been performing since my early childhood. Musical education of a high level was considered extremely important by my parents.
