The musical finds room for 22 ABBA songs, including CHIQUITITA, DANCING QUEEN, I HAVE A DREAM, KNOWING ME, KNOWING YOU, THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL, SUPER TROUPER, TAKE A CHANCE ON ME and VOULEZ-VOUS.
It is a huge honour to welcome the MAMMA MIA! musical to Budapest. It is the first time that the Budapest Sport Arena will host such a complete theatrical production with the original cast, featuring both arena-scale production technology and refined performances suited for the theatre. The company will perform in English, the original language of the production, but the audience will be able to follow projected Hungarian subtitles.

Following the sweeping success of 2006, MAMMA MIA!, of the most successful musicals of all time, arrives in Budapest in October 2007.
Over the past 2 years the show’s international tour has been seen by 1.3 million people in Dublin, Edinburgh, South Africa, Tallinn, Lisbon, Paris, Brussels, numerous cities across Germany, Vienna, Zurich, and Belfast.
A total of 7 performances will be held in Hungary between the 24th and 28th of October at the Budapest Sport Arena.

A musical-ben 22 ABBA szám kapott helyett, köztük a CHIQUITITA, DANCING QUEEN, I HAVE A DREAM, KNOWING ME, KNOWING YOU, THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL, SUPER TROUPER, TAKE A CHANCE ON ME és a VOULEZ-VOUS.
A tény, hogy Budapesten is látható a MAMMA MIA! musical óriási dolog, ugyanis ilyen komplett színházi előadás, eredeti szereplőkkel, sportcsarnok-méretű technikával, ugyanakkor színházi finomságú színpadi előadásmóddal még nem volt a Budapest Sportaréna történetében. A társulat eredeti angol nyelven adja elő a darabot, de a szöveg magyar fordítását kivetítőkön követhetik a nézők.

Az elmúlt 2 évben nemzetközi turné keretében a közönség Dublinban, Edinburgh-ben, Dél-Afrikában, Tallinban, Lisszabonban, Párizsban, Brüsszelben, Németország több nagyvárosában, Bécsben, Zürichben, Belfastban nézhette meg a darabot, - ez összesen 1millió 300 ezer nézőt jelentett.
Magyarországon, 2007. október 24. és 28. között a Budapest Sportarénában összesen 7 előadás lesz.
