Néhány hete megjelent egy érdekes térkép az ESC Hungary fórumán. Keressük meg a térképen az Eurovíziónak helyt adó városokat és kössük őket össze! Ha a 2003-as, Isztambulban rendezett versenytől kiindulva időrendi sorrendben húzzuk meg a vonalakat, a rajzolt görbéből láthatjuk, hogy a verseny helyszínei egyre inkább nyugatra tolódnak. Ha tovább akarjuk rajzolni a görbét, akkor 3 főváros kerül a látókörbe: Budapest, Varsó és Stockholm. A tavalyi verseny helyszínén az ott tartózkodó magyar kommentátornak több külföldi rajongó azt mondta, hogy nem fog Magyarország nyerni, a nemzeted miatt ("because of your nation"). Vajon mire gondolhattak a rajongók?

Some weeks ago an interesting map appeared on forum of ESC Hungary. Let's find the cities which have hosted the Eurovision on the Europe map and connect them! If we start matching from Istanbul, which hosted the 2003th edition of ESC, and draw lines to the next city (who won the ESC 2004) and so on, you will see that the places of Eurovision final are moving to west. If we continue the drawing at the same style, you will find 3 capitals: Budapest, Warsaw and Stockholm. Last year in Helsinki the hungarian commentator was told by several foreign fans that Hungary wouldn’t win ”because of your nation”. What might have those fans thought about?
