Eurovision was the topic of the morning show "Mokka" of the hungarian commercial channel TV2. Kati Kovács (who won the first Hungarian "Melodifestivalen" in 1966 and she got "The Star Of The Year" award from the Music Week magazine in 1975) has given some advice to Magdi Rúzsa, who will participate on the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007. The most important question was her song. Magdi explained that she was having a big problem because of the lack of time. Nobody has undertaken to compose a song in 8 days.

Kati Kovács has suggested to perform an uptempo and happy song and to show her technical ability. She should be careful with her clothes matching the background.

Magdi has told about the aspects of choosing the song. "It's a contest of the song not the contest of singing. I'm having a big problem. Should I go with a song that is very tuneful and catchy and brings people a good feeling? In the last resort I will take my favourite song.

The other topic was the victory of Lordi. Magdi said: "It's another problem that it isn't important whether the song is beautiful. Nobody knows what kind of feelings will the audience have."

She told about the 2 songs she has chosen. "One of them is my own song, the other one is a happy song. The most part of European people are different from the Hungarian. They aren't so sad and moping. Hungarian people are enjoying these lyric songs but Europeans prefer happy songs. Because of the lack of time I have decided that I will choose a song from my last record (Ördögi Angyal) for the contest."

Howewer she hasn't decided whether she will sing in English or Hungarian.

A TV2 Mokka című reggeli műsorában tegnap ismét az Eurovízió volt az egyik téma. Kovács Kati, a sokszoros Táncdalfesztivál győztes tanácsokat adott Rúzsa Magdinak az Eurovíziós részvétellel kapcsolatban. Magdi az élő adásba telefonon keresztül kapcsolódott. A műsorban legérdekesebb kérdése persze a versenydal volt. Magdi elmondta, hogy nehéz helyzetben van a rövid idő miatt, mert egy zeneszerző sem vállalkozott arra, hogy 8 nap alatt összeállítson egy komplett dalt.

Tempós, vidám dalt javasol Kovács Kati Magdinak. Mutassa meg a technikai tudását, ügyeljen arra, hogy a ruhája illeszkedjen a színpadi díszlethez.

Magdi beszélt a dalválasztás szempontjairól.
- Ez egy dalverseny, nem énekverseny. Nagy gondban vagyok. Vigyek ki egy olyan dalt, ami nagyon dallamos, mindenkinek a fülébe mászik és jól érzik majd magukat, vagy végső esetben az általam legjobban kedvelt dalt vigyem-e ki.

Felvetődött Lordi tavalyi győzelme, így nehéz megítélni, hogy milyen dal lenne igazán jó.
- Ez a másik gond, már nem az a fontos hogy minél nagyobb ívű, minél gyönyörűbb dal legyen. Nem tudni, hogy milyen hangulatban lesznek az emberek (a nézők).

A versenydallal kapcsolatban ennyi konkrétumot mondott:
- Az egyik dalt "magamnak köszönhetem", a másik pedig egy vidám dal. Az emberek nagy része Európában nem olyanok mint a magyarok, hogy szomorkodunk, búslakodós emberek vagyunk és mi és élvezzük ezeket a nagyon lírai dalokat viszont ők jobban szeretik a vidám dalokat. Mivel rövid az idő, mindenképpen úgy döntöttem, hogy a lemezemről fogok vinni egy dalt magammal.

Azt, hogy magyarul vagy angolul fogjuk-e hallani a magyar versenydalt, azt még nem lehet tudni.
