Gundel Takács Gábor újra az MTV-nél fog dolgozni – és talán ismét kommentálni fog Eurovíziót

Gábor Gundel Takács will work for MTV again - he may be the hungarian presenter of the next Eurovision

Gábor Gundel Takács who is the presenter of 'Áll az alku' gameshow on the commercial channel TV2 recently, will be the contributor of MTV again. He had worked for the Sport department of MTV, for the hungarian edition of Eurosport and for the Sport Tv as sportreporter. And he was the person who presented the Eurovision Song Contest for the hungarian viewers on 10.05.1998. Unfortunately, the hungarian entrant couldn't achieve a good place on the scoreboard (Charlie – A holnap már nem lesz szomorú – 22nd place from 25 participants). That year, MTV didn't organize national final, they predestinated the contestant for that task.

Katalin Holub the spokesperson of MTV responsed for index.hu: "According to the public television Gábor Gundel Takács has already proved his ability so he is welcome by us and we hope to see him in many kinds of programmes on the channels of MTV." She stressed they are at the beginning of the negotiations. The arrival of the reporter might stand MTV in good stead as Hungary will participate on the next contest so it is possible that he will present the international show on MTV. According to our informations the hungarian fans were mostly satisfied with the presentation of István Vágó and Gábor Gundel Takács.
TV2 still hopes that the reporter changes his mind.

Gundel Takács Gábor – akit mostanában a TV2 Áll az alku című vetélkedőjében láthatunk műsorvezetőként – újra a Magyar Televízió munkatársa lesz. A televíziós személyiség megjárta már az MTV sportosztályát, az Eurosport magyar szerkesztőségét és a Sport Tv-t is. És ő volt az, aki az 1998. május 10-én Birminghamban megrendezésre került Eurovíziós Dalfesztivál magyar kommentátora volt. Sajnos nem sikerült a magyar versenydalnak abban az évben jó helyezést elérnie (Charlie – A holnap már nem lesz szomorú – 22. hely a 25 résztvevőből). Abban az évben az MTV nem rendezett nemzeti döntőt, a versenyzőt felkérték a feladatra.
"A közszolgálati televízió szerint Gundel Takács Gábor már sokszor bizonyította tehetségét, ezért tárt karokkal várjuk, és reméljük hogy több különböző műfajú műsorban is feltűnik majd az MTV csatornáin" - válaszolta az index.hu kérdésére Holub Katalin, aki hangsúlyozta, hogy még csak a tárgyalások legelején tartanak a műsorvezetővel.
Pont kapóra jöhet a riporter érkezése, mert idén Magyarország indulni fog az ESC-n, így könnyen előfordulhat újra, hogy ő kommentálja majd a nemzetközi versenyt. A hazai rajongók – információink szerint – Vágó István mellett Gundel Takács Gábor műsorvezetésével voltak a leginkább megelégedve.
A TV2-nél még bíznak abban, hogy a riporter meggondolja magát hétfőig.
